Service Projects

DO A GOOD TURN DAILY is the Scouts BSA motto. It means you should always be looking for extra opportunities to help others, quietly and without boasting. Remember that a Good Turn is an act of kindness, not just something you do because it is good manners.

Pack 156 enjoys helping the Cookeville and surrounding communities as often as we can. As a pack we will complete at least 2 service projects throughout the scouting year. Most dens will also complete service projects on their own through the year.

In the past we have picked up garbage from Capshaw, picked up garbage around the natural resource area, participated in "Scouting for Food", made crafts and sang Christmas carols at the nursing homes, made care packages for our police officers and made cards for our Veteran's. These just name a few of our service projects. If you have any ideas, let us know!
